Funeral For:  Della Peters 
Funeral Date: June 9, 2025 
Della Peters, 75, of Steinbach passed away Tuesday, June 3rd at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. She is survived by 3 sons, 3 grandchildren, and 1 sister. She was predeceased by her husband Diedrich, 1 daughter, 1 grandson and 3 brothers. 
A memorial service for Della Peters will be held Monday, June 9th at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel. 
Donations may be made to Adult & Teen Challege or Roseau River Bible Camp.

Jade Curtiss Volesky
1988-2025

With broken hearts the family wishes to announce that Jade Volesky late of Estevan, SK passed away at the Regina General Hospital during surgery to repair an aortic dissection on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the age of 37 years.

A Celebration of Jade’s Life will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Days Inn Plaza, Estevan, SK with Carmella Backlun presiding. A time of lunch and socializing will follow.

Charles Alexander Cuthbert
1941-2025

Charles Cuthbert passed away with family by his side on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Arcola Health Centre, Arcola, SK at the age of 84 years.
Charles was the United Church Minister at Whitebear First Nation from 1968-1969.

A Traditional Feast will be held at the Kisby Rec Centre on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.

Wade Loyal Lohse, late of Beaubier, SK passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 71 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Mabel “Peggy” Lohse; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Date: June 11, 2025 
Joey Vadjl, 61, of Ile Des Chenes passed away Thursday, May 29th in the R-M of Hanover. He is survived by his wife Rachelle, 1 daughter, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and their families. 
The celebration of life for Joey Vadjl will be held Wednesday, June 11th at 11am at Trans Canada Energy Centre, 1 Rivard Street, Ile Des Chenes. 
Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral For:  Peter Letkeman 
Funeral Date: June 9, 2025 
Peter Letkeman, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 3rd. The funeral service for Peter Letkeman will be held Monday, June 9th at 2pm at My Church, 955 Wilkes Avenue, Winnipeg.

Deborah Jean Fleck was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan on July 22, 1963, to Robert and Nina Cumpstone. They moved to Aneroid, Saskatchewan shortly afterwards to live with Deborah’s brother Douglas and grandparents Otto and Ethel Ruehs. A few years later they moved to Swift Current with Deborah’s stepfather Stan Fleck. Deborah went to school at Ashley Park and O. M. Irwin Schools. She volunteered at the Saskatchewan Abilities Council and was involved in getting Special Olympics started in Swift Current.

Wahkia Walter Joseph Ewalk
2002-2025

Wahkia Ewalk, late of Saskatoon, SK passed away in Regina, SK on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the age of 22 years.

The Traditional Wake will take place at the Ocean Man First Nation Band Hall on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Traditional Feast and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m with Theodore Bison officiating. Burial to follow at the Ocean Man First Nation Cemetery.

It is with heart felt sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Marie Wilson on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, with her children by her side.  Shirley was the third child born to Bessie and Harold Radford on October 5th, 1930, in Toronto, Ontario.

Verna Gayleen Turner, late of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away after a battle with cancer on May 30, 2025, accompanied by family as she wished. Gayleen was the first child of her parents, Lorne Turner, and Doreen Turner (nee Bredin), and the first grandchild in both the Bredin and Turner families. Predeceased by both parents and her brother, Brian Turner, she is survived by her two daughters, Adrienne Banning with her children Jackson and Blake, and Andrea Rogoschewsky with her husband Doug Rogoschewsky and their children Peyton and Emmett, by her sister Sr.
