The sunny weather and cool breeze accompanied the event-packed weekend at the Niverville Fair. 

From stunt riders wowing the crowd and thrilling rides to fair food and live music that got people dancing, there was no shortage of activities. 

Communities around the southeast have many events and activities to offer this weekend. 

Marked on our calendar is the Niverville Fair, and we will be there with Wendy’s Show Us Your Summer! 

From Friday, June 9, to Saturday, June 10, the streets of Niverville will be packed with many activities for everyone to enjoy. 

From live music to extreme motocross, there is no shortage of entertainment for everyone. 

Rain or shine, community members still attended Steinbach’s Walk for Life event on Sunday afternoon. 

K.R. Barkman Park was packed with many people and activities. Life Culture organized the event, and Executive Director Susan Penner is "appreciative” of the turnout. 

The second day of Lorette Fun Days was packed with many people. 

The Lorette Family Fun Group organized the event and offered many activities. With giant inflatable slides, a rock climbing wall, balloon animals and stories in the tent, there were endless options for families to enjoy. 

The first weekend of June is packed with events happening in communities around southeast Manitoba. 

We are kicking off the month at the Lorette Fun Days on Saturday, June 3, at the Lorette Community Complex. The three-day event runs from Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 and is packed with festivities and activities for the whole family. 

Missy Johnson says it all started 12 years ago with the Lorette Family Fun Group. 

From trucks and Mustangs to pink Cadillacs and Mater from the Cars movie, there was no shortage of must-see vehicles at the Car Show on the Ridge on Saturday. 

Car lovers from across Manitoba gathered at the M.A. Querel Community Park in Woodridge for the second annual event.

This last weekend of May is packed with events worth checking out to wrap up the month. 

On Saturday, May 27, we will be at M.A. Querel Community Park in Woodridge for the second annual Car Show on the Ridge. 

Auto enthusiasts from across Manitoba and northwestern Ontario gather to showcase their cars, trucks, race cars, Rat Rods, motorcycles, snowmobiles, semi-trucks, tractors and projects they have been working on.  

This May long weekend brought sunshine instead of the usual showers southeast Manitoba is used to seeing.  

Friends and families took advantage of the holiday and weather. Many pulled out their barbecues, and others went to the sky on swings at the park.

The May long weekend is inching closer. From escape rooms to golf, there are many ways to spend it. 

Here is a rundown of local activities and sights to check out and what will be open on Victoria Day. 

Steinbach store hours will vary: 

• Clearspring Centre will be open from 12 PM to 5 PM. 

• Sobeys, Superstore and Walmart are open from 9 AM to 6 PM. 

• Canadian Tire will be closed all day.
