After a brief stay at St. Boniface Hospital, Eddie passed away at the age of 81. 

A Celebration of Eddie’s Life was held on Monday, November 7th, 2022 with Rev. John Dolloff officiating.  Urn Bearer was Leigh Skaftfeld. Honorary Pallbearers were: Ken Bowman and Diane Labossiere, Choch (Craig) Hourie, Art Lilyholm, Del Walker, Deanne Griffiths, Roland Gauthier, Don Orton, Dave Neudorf, Willi Foth, Larry Nichol and Larry Harder.

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Marianne Turner on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Gladstone Health Centre at the age of 72 years.

Marianne will be lovingly remembered by her children Jennifer (David) Turner of Portage la Prairie, MB and Philip Turner of Brandon, MB, as well as many friends and extended family members.

Roger Barrett

On October 21, 2022, just shy of his 94th birthday, Roger Barrett, after a long life dedicated to the service of his community, has left this earthly realm, to join his high school sweetheart, our mother Alix Lorraine Barrett (1968)

Born on November 8, 1928, he was the 6th of 12 children born to Edith and Reginald Barrett. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald (1944), Edith, his siblings Arthur (K.I.A.1944), Kathleen, Genevieve, Reginald, Albert, Leslie, Delmarie, Nelson, and Robert.

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Marcel “Mouse” Ricard on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Portage District General Hospital. “Mouse” passed away at the age of 70 years.

Left to mourn his passing are his daughters Patricia McDonald of Portage la Prairie and Donna Ricard of Winnipeg, his ex-wife and very good friend Jay-Ann Ricard and his special friend and caregiver, Louise Downing.
