It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Albert Louis Lilley at the age of 55 years on November 5th, 2022 in Oakville, MB.

Albert was born on June 22nd, 1967 in Portage la Prairie and spent most of his life in Portage.

Albert enjoyed fishing, hunting, loved camping and playing slots. He worked at Lynch’s Point Campground from 1995 – 1999. He also worked many small jobs such as; painting, flooring and roofing.

Albert loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters and grandkids.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Neault on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at the age of 74 years. Rose was a loving mother and grandmother.

Rose was born on April 5, 1948, in Ochre River, Manitoba.  She spent her early years in Ste. Rose du Lac and later moved with her family to Portage la Prairie, attending school and spending time with her brothers and sister.

Peacefully, Mary (Miriam) McWhirter (nee Salloum), passed away November 2, 2022.  She is survived by her husband and our father, Jack McWhirter and her sister Helen Salloum.

Mary is predeceased by her father and mother, George and Shamse Salloum, siblings; Eddie, Rose, Habib, Fred, Phyllis and Albert.

It is with great sadness that the family of Eva Shewchuk (nee Epton) announce her passing on Thursday October 20th, 2022 at the Lions Prairie Manor, at the age of 90 years.

Eva was predeceased by her loving husband Orest of 50 years and her parents Lilian and Arthur Epton of England, and brother David.

She was predeceased by her husband Stephen, her parents Herbert and Karen Lenz, and her sister Dianna Lenz.

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dave little of Winnipeg, MB on Thursday August 25, 2022 at the age of 60, with his family by his side.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kala Little (Rick Boak) of Portage la Prairie, sister Toni of Stony Plain, AB,  niece Leanne (Jesse) of Edmonton, AB and special friend Zoe Priest of Winnipeg, MB.  Along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Dave was predeceased by his son Anthony Little, brother Gordon Little and parents Shirley and David Little.

     With sunshine beaming through the window and family by her side, our mom Shirley Henderson passed away peacefully on July 12, 2022 at the age of 85 at PDGH.  Fortunately, she had been in reasonably good health until about three months before her death.

On the evening of July 12, 2022 in Elk Valley, BC, our beloved Brandon was struck by a drunk driver. He was then airlifted by STARS to Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB where he succumbed to his injuries at the young age of 28.

Brandon grew up in Portage la Prairie, MB, where he attended Fort la Reine, Yellowquill and PCI. He left Portage to pursue his career in construction out west. It was there that Brandon met his girlfriend Cherie Rabl and her 3 children.

Ian Douglas Borland

On July 6th, 2022, Ian Borland passed away peacefully at the Portage & District General Hospital.

Ian was predeceased by his wife Elaine (Billie) Borland and son David.

He is survived by his sons; Lorne (Kathy) and Doug (Donna), eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
