'Evening of Elegance' dresses future MCI grads in Morden

A program in Morden designed to help potential graduates find a grad dress, suit, or a variety of accessories returned last week after a three-year hiatus.
    
Tyler Sloan is a guidance counselor at Morden Collegiate Institute (MCI). He said it was very exciting to end the evening outfitting nearly all of the graduates that came out.

Hundreds of people enjoy meal in support of Winkler Bible Camp

Over $40,000 in donations was raised during Winkler Bible Camp's annual fall supper Tuesday night.
      
Along with drive-through pick-up for the prepared turkey, potato, and stuffing meal, this was the first time in a couple of years the camp was inviting guests to also enjoy the fall supper in the camp's dining hall.
      
Camp Executive Director Dale Wiebe says staff prepared eight-hundred meals, and in the end, eight hundred and fifty people showed up to support the camp.
      

Josh Guenter & Minister Clarke visit community project sites in the Pembina & Red River Valleys

Minister of Municipal Relations, Eileen Clarke was in the Pembina and Red River Valley regions Tuesday to visit several project sites supported through the province's Building Sustainable Community Initiative.

One of Minister Clarke's stops was in Schanzenfeld, where she was accompanied by Borderland MLA Josh Guenter, RM of Stanley Reeve Morris Olafson and members of the Schanzenfeld Pathway committee.
