Grande Prairie RCMP investigate hit and run with pedestrian

On Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at approximately 7:55 p.m., the Grande Prairie RCMP received a report of a hit and run that occurred between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian was struck by a metallic colored sedan of unknown make and model, around 5:20 p.m., while crossing the crosswalk on Lakeland Drive at 90A Street. The suspect vehicle fled the area after a short conversation with the pedestrian, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Dawson Creek RCMP looking for public's help in locating two Individuals

The Dawson Creek RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating two individuals. 

RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Jesse Ray Stevens who is wanted for attempted murder and break and enter and commit an indictable offence. Police are also requesting the public’s help in locating Tanner Alan Murray who is wanted for robbery and uttering threats.

Victory GP gives family gift baskets for those in need

Pastor Tony Evans married in private ceremony surrounded by friends and family

Well-known author and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Tony Evans, is officially married. 

Back in September, leading up to the fourth anniversary of his wife's death, 74-year-old Pastor Evans brought his family to the stage, honouring his late wife before announcing that he was engaged.

Over the weekend, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship took to social media to announce the pair are now married.
