Cast of local production Godspell excited to share tunes, moves and laughs with community
The cast of Godspell says they are looking forward to bringing the musical to life for the community.
The musical is directed by Steinbach Arts Council’s David Klassen and Jeremy Plett with a talented cast of local performers.
Godspell was created in the 1970s and is based on the gospel of Matthew.
Cole Recksiedler will be playing Jesus.
“It’s definitely a daunting role, for sure,” he says.

Agape House raises over $4000 for Ribbons of Hope campaign
Agape House’s Ribbons of Hope campaign has closed, and they announced that they raised over $4000 in total and $1400 with Clearview Co-op.
Agape House in Steinbach is a place where individuals facing domestic violence can go to. Lisa Fast of Agape House says she is grateful for the community’s support in their mission.
“Definitely exceeded what we thought we would raise, so it was really great to see that,” Fast says.
