From live music to 50s-themed celebrations, communities around southeast Manitoba are welcoming the new year in style.
Check out the New Year’s Eve events in the southeast:
Celebrate the last day of 2023 at New Year’s in Niverville. There will be live music all night long courtesy of Catie St. Germain, JR Charron and the Dept. Of Human Resources. St. Germain will be debuting original songs she will release in 2024.
They will be serving a midnight snack, and there will also be two cash bars.
The tickets are $28 if purchased in advance and $30 at the door. The event will run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Niverville Heritage Centre ballroom.
Over in Gardenton, they will have a New Year’s Eve Dance to ring in 2024.
Come in your best 50s-inspired outfits as there are prizes for the best dressed. There will be music by Universal DJ, karaoke and pizza and hotdogs.
The New Year’s Eve Dance is happening from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Gardenton Park Hall. For more information, contact Kelvin at (204) 425-8197.
