SaskPower emphasizes that it does not send e-transfers and urges customers to carefully verify the email address before responding to any suspicious messages.

Anyone who has clicked on the link in the fraudulent email should contact local law enforcement immediately.

*LOCATED* Turtleford RCMP seek public’s help in locating missing man

The Turtleford RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Kristian Klassan, a 33-year-old man who was last seen on Friday at a residence in Turtleford. Authorities believe he may be in the Macklin, Unity, or Turtleford areas, though this has not been confirmed.

Kristian is described as being 6’1” tall, with a slim build, and blue eyes. Since the attached photo was taken, he has shaved his head and currently has no hair.

B.C. election recounts triggered in two ridings, delaying result for a week

British Columbia's redrawn political landscape won't be settled for about a week, with manual recounts triggered in two key ridings after a nail-biting provincial election that has yet to produce a clear winner.

Elections BC said Sunday the recounts will take place from Oct. 26 to 28 in Juan de Fuca-Malahat and Surrey City Centre, where NDP candidates lead B.C. Conservatives by fewer than 100 votes.

Estevan doctor faces restriction as investigation unfolds

An Estevan doctor is facing practice restrictions as the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) is opening an investigation.

Dr. Alexander Arthur has currently restricted their practice as CPSS received two complaints from female patients which alleged improper conduct by the doctor.

As such, Dr. Arthur has agreed to have a practice monitor present for any professional encounter with female patients pending the outcome of the investigations.

Private Members' Bill blames pandemics on animal agriculture says Ag Critic

Alberta MP and Conservative Agriculture Critic John Barlow has been receiving a number of emails from Canadians who are concerned about Private Members' Bill C-293, which now sits before the Senate.

He says while the primary objective of the bill is pandemic prevention and preparedness, it contains content and language that will adversely affect Canadian farmers and ranchers.
