After a day of celebrating many of her favourite things, Sheila Constance Root passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday May 11th, 2024, at the age of 92 years.  Sheila was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas in 2016.

LESLIE JOHN SELTZER

1942 - 2024

Leslie John Seltzer of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at the age of 81 years.  He passed peacefully at home in the comfort of his own bed with family by his side.

Eunice Hazel Bradshaw (Lissel; née: King) aged 96 years of Elbow, SK, passed away on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024. 

A Celebration of Eunice’s Life will be held at a later date in Elbow, SK, and a full obituary will be posted.

STELLA PISIO

May 3rd, 1934 – May 27th, 2024

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Stella Pisio (née: Roll) at the age of 90 years, of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, at her home on the morning of Monday, May 27th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by her loving children Barry and Barb.

KENNETH JOSEPH FEDYK

1945 – 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Joseph Fedyk announce his passing on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, at his home at Mulberry Estates.

Ken was born in Moose Jaw, SK to Joe and Nellie (née: Billan) Fedyk.  He enjoyed the simple farm life and loved his animals.  He attended school at Expanse and Mossbank, SK.  Ken enjoyed helping his dad on the farm as well as playing hockey, ball, and going hunting. 

SONGER

Marion Ruth June Songer aged 88 years of Central Butte, SK, passed away on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024.  Marion is survived by her son, Allan (Kandy) Songer; grandchildren, Evan Songer and Ryan Songer; brother, Rick (Trish) Bishop; and sister-in-law, Merle Bishop.  She was predeceased by her parents, May and Chuck Bishop; sisters, Lila (Jim) Hatley, Jean (Austin) Hatley, and Marjorie Bishop; and brother, Bill Bishop. 

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.

BRENDA MAUREEN HAWKES

September 25th, 1954 – May 11th, 2024

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Brenda Maureen Hawkes (née: Campbell) on Saturday, May 11th, 2024.  Brenda was born in Moose Jaw, SK, the only girls with three brothers, two older and one younger.  She was the rose between three thorns.  Brenda attended William Grayson and St. Michael’s elementary schools, and Central Collegiate High School.

CHARTRAND

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Marlene Chartrand on Friday, May 31st, 2024, at the age of 90 years.  Shirley was born on a small farm in Avonlea, Saskatchewan, to parents Dorothy and Earl McIntosh, on July 8th, 1933.  In her young adult years, she moved to Moose Jaw, SK where she met her husband, John Chartrand.  After trying out other locations, they eventually settled in Moose Jaw where they raised their large family.  Shirley remained in Moose Jaw until her final days.
