Just a few days after his last 500 game and upon his first time ever being admitted to the hospital, the family of Albert Berger are deeply saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan at the age of 100 years.

MYRNA COZMA 

February 1st, 1933 - May 28th, 2024

Myrna Cozma aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024.  Myrna was born in Veregin, SK and raised on the family farm with her parents and 6 siblings near Rhein, Saskatchewan.

Myrna married Elie (Lee) Cozma in 1956 and made Moose Jaw their home in 1961.  The house on 4th Avenue NW was her home for 60 years until she moved to Crescent Park Retirement Villa in 2018 and then, for the last year of her life, Providence Place.

DALE LASOTA 

February 12th, 1961 – May 28th, 2024  

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Dale Lyndon Lasota aged 63 years of Moose Jaw, SK, announce his passing on Tuesday May 28th, 2024, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Reginal Hospital in Moose Jaw, after a brave, courageous battle with cancer.

Mel passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family.  His final days were spent immersed in the unwavering love and support of his life-long friends and family.

It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dad and grandpa, Jerry (Jez) Ryba, on May 18th, 2024. Dad passed in the arms of his daughter, Jeri, in her home.

Dad was born in Moose Jaw to Charlie and Mary Anastasia Ryba and was the youngest of ten children. He attended Prince Arthur School and Moose Jaw Technical High School.

Feb. 19, 1967 – May 19, 2024

Deanna Lynn Walker was born February 19, 1967, in Kamloops, BC. and was adopted by Bill and Etalia Shane.  In 1972 she became a big sister when her parents adopted a baby boy Buster (William).  After her parents' divorce her mom blessed her with another dad, Doug and in 1979 a baby sister Peggy. In 1988 she moved to Neville, Saskatchewan to be with her family who had moved there the previous year.
