Robert Ackerman

Robert Ackerman passed at home May 6th, 2024, after an ongoing battle with COPD and Congestive Heart Failure. Bob is predeceased by his son Shane, parents Florence and Ralph. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, children Ryan (Brenna), Lyle, Dawn (Christian); steps sons Scott (Chris), William (Megan) as well as many grandchildren.

Bob met many people on his journey with car mechanics, taxi and tow truck driving. His sarcastic wit and vast car knowledge will be forever missed.

Charles Robert McLaren

Charles Robert McLaren born May 12, 1949, in Moose Jaw, passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
 

Chuck is predeceased by his father Lloyd, mother Mary and brother Don. He will be remembered by his brother Dave and his family as well as many cousins, neighbours and friends.

Darlene May Schepens

Darlene May Schepens was born January 6, 1953, in Radville, SK and she passed away May 22, 2024, at the age of 71 years old. 

 

She was predeceased by her parents Andre and Ethel, brother Roy, sister-in-law Muriel and partner Chuck. Darlene will be remembered by her brothers Jim (Weyburn); Donny (Gladmar) and sister-in-law Ann (Regina); special nephew Andre; special niece Shelby; nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

 

Doug Kwan

Doug “Kwazzy” Kwan of Moose Jaw passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 63. Doug moved to Moose Jaw from Hong Kong in 1973. He graduated from Peacock High School and worked at Safeway for over 40 years, retiring five years ago. He was admired and loved by all those who he met, it seemed everyone knew Doug.

Leonard Arthur Ward

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Leonard Arthur Ward on March 26, 2024, at the age of 79. He will be sadly missed by his wife Margaret, her children Louise, Ron, Donny, Marie and Darren and his pet dog Mitzie.

A Come and Go Tea will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from 1:30 – 3:30pm at W. J. Jones and Son Reception Hall, 474 Hochelaga St W., Moose Jaw.

Donald Alvin Williams

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Donald Alvin Williams of Moose Jaw on February 29, 2024. He is predeceased by his parents, son Robert Williams and brother Arnold. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years Marion and daughter Deborah (Jim). A private family service was held.

Gwen Wilson

Gwen Wilson of Moose Jaw peacefully passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 96. Gwen was born in Rhein, SK on May 31, 1927. She moved often as her parents were school teachers. Most of her school years were spent in Spring Coulee, AB. It is also where she married Ivan (Amos) Wilson on August 27, 1950. They met when Gwen was attending nursing school here in Moose Jaw, which she later graduated from and spent many years working as a Registered Nurse. They went on to have three children Kris, Graham and Brian. Gwen loved crosswords, knitting, crocheting and watching curling.

Heather passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. Her bright, beautiful smile touched so many and will be missed by all who knew her.
