It is with heavy hearts the family of Henry Barbier announces his passing on June 15, 2025 at the age of 86.

Henry had a short but courageous battle with cancer that lasted officially 2 1/2 weeks.  Ultimately, Henry spent his final hours with family and friends and passed with dignity in the embrace of his wife, Patricia.

Henry wore many hats during his lifetime. He was an amazing farmer, an auctioneer and pilot. He loved fixing things and solving problems.  He was also a man of great faith.

July 29, 1955 ~ May 28, 2025

With his daughter by his side, Randy passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the age of 69 years. 

April 18, 1933 ~ December 1, 2024

Shirley Marie Maltais of Medicine Hat passed away at the age of 91 years. She was born in Pennant, SK., to George and Mary Devlin and raised on her maternal grandparents’ homestead at Success, SK where she took all her primary schooling. She then traveled to Portage la Prairie, Manitoba to train in psychiatric nursing for a year before returning home to Success.
