Della Jean Weighill
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Della Jean Weighill on May 6, 2025.
Della Jean Weighill (Winkler) was born September 4, 1940. She was the youngest daughter of John and Nettie Schellenberg of Gouldtown, Saskatchewan. She had two older sisters, Ruth Joy and Ruby Mildred and a big brother George Raymond. When Della was almost 10 her family welcomed another son, Blaine Donnelly. He was never a healthy child and sadly passed away when he was 16.

Helen was born in 1929 to loving and supportive parents Dymetro and Mary Gregor. She was the youngest of three children. Born and raised in Moose Jaw, SK, she attended Westmount School for grades 1-8 and completed high school at the Convent of Sion GRXII.
Cheryl Thorson
It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Cheryl Thorson. Cheryl left us on April 30, 2025, at the age of 60. She was raised in the Eastleigh District, south of Mortlach, SK, with her parents, Dorothy and George, and her siblings, Heather and Blaine. During the era of neon colours, shoulder pads, and big hair, Cheryl met her husband Peter at a dance, where they were introduced twice by two different people.
Eugenie “Jean” Rose Schultz
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Eugenie “Jean” Rose Schultz of Moose Jaw on April 8, 2025, at the age of 83.
She is predeceased by her parents and her daughter Terry. She will be sadly missed by her children Garry (Wendy), Tracey (Anthony), Sandy, Louie (Tina) and Stephen (Sherri); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren; siblings Robert (Marie), Angelle as well as numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Zelda Lois Johnson

Zelda Johnson passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2025, at Moose Jaw Special Care Home, at the age of 79.
Zelda was born on June 9th, 1945, in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Gladys and Alfred Anderson.
Zelda grew up in Weyburn and graduated high school from Weyburn Collegiate. She went on to study Secretarial studies at Saskatchewan Technical Institute (now Saskatchewan Polytechnic) in Moose Jaw. While there, she met the love of her life, Ronald Johnson, whom she married on August 7, 1967.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear brother, uncle and cousin Rick Tremblay on April 2, 2025, at the age of 57.
Rick is predeceased by his parents Bernie and Betty Tremblay. He will be sadly missed by his brother Tim; sister Tammy; nephews Devon, Larry (Brook), Kristen (Thomas); great nephew Brady; great nieces Maycen, Raya, Olivia, Aurora and Audrey.

It is with a broken heart we announce the passing of Sharon Anne Metz (Waletzky) of Moose Jaw, SK on the 13th of March 2025.
Sharon was born in Moose Jaw, the second child born to Lola and Jack Waletzky in 1949. She graduated high school in 1967 and shortly after began her 41-year career at the City of Moose Jaw. She married Daryl Metz in 1970 and gave birth to their only son Warren Metz in 1974.

It is with unimaginable sorrow and unwavering love, I am here to announce the passing of my pride, my joy, my princess, my baby girl, Kyriesha on March 25, 2025 at the age of 15. Kyriesha battled long and hard without any complaints. She greeted every day and every person with love, laughter, and smiles to light up the world.

Phyllis Ruth Sommerfeld, late of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Mary Fries, and her brothers Arnold and Lawrence Fries. Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her husband Elmer, and daughters: Kathy (Frank) Ponto of Colinton, AB; Karla Sommerfeld (Rod Gilmour) of Moose Jaw, SK; and Sue (Russell) Turner of Edmonton, AB. She was known to many relatives and long-time friends simply as Auntie Phyllis and she was much loved.

Cal was predeceased by his beloved wife, Beth, parents, 3 brothers, sisters and daughter.
Cal was a hard worker, which began when he decided he no longer wanted to go to school and work on the family farm. Then he worked as a heavy equipment operator and later back as a farm laborer.
