October 31, 1954- March 7, 2025
After a short, hard fought battle with cancer, Joerg "Joe " Ernst Jonat slipped away on March 7, 2025, surrounded by his dearest friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Dianne in 2024 and his parents. Joe is survived by his son Adam; his brother Harold (Dawn) and their family; lifelong friends Rick and Wendy and Dave and Trish and their families; dear friends John and Olive as well as many close neighborhood friends across this country and beyond.

Predeceased by his grandparents Bill and Dorothy Pryor; grandma Norma Peakman; mother-in-law Lorelei Orr; aunt Joan (Rueben) Acorn, Aunt Jean Marvin; cousin Kevin Acorn and childhood best friend Jeremy Anthony.

Sonia McWilliams passed away peacefully at her home in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on March 12, 2025, with her family by her side.
A celebration of Sonia’s life will be held on Friday August 1, 2025, at 11:00AM at W. J. Jones & Son, 474 Hochelaga St W, Moose Jaw. Della Ferguson will officiate.
We will gather in gratitude to honour Sonia and Fred's lives, their spirit and their faith.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma Joy Hutchinson on Friday March 14, 2025, at the age of 92 years.
Mom was born December 15, 1932, to Tom and Sulina. Mom grew up on the family farm with her three brothers. Following her marriage in 1949 she resided in the Crestwynd area during which time her five daughters were born. She eventually moved to Moose Jaw where she resided for the rest of her life. Mom always remained a farm girl at heart.
Roberta Louise Abrey
It is with heartbreaking sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta (Bobbi) Louise Abrey (née Wolff) on March 16, 2025, at the age of 80, following a short illness.
Roberta is cherished by her loving husband of 61 years, Carman; her two children, April (Ed Fournier) and Kelly. She will be forever missed and remembered by extended members of the Abrey, Wolff and Stratton families as well as by the many friends she made during her 61 years living in the Moose Jaw area.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Eleanor Margaret Anderson. Mom died peacefully and on her own terms on Mar 5, 2025, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital in Moose Jaw, surrounded by her family. She will be remembered by all those who knew her for her kindness, acceptance, inclination to help others, and for her ready smile.

Bruce was born in Central Butte, SK and raised on a nearby family farm. He enlisted with the RCAF from 1943-1946. He married Shirley Halladay in 1947. They raised four children and lived in four provinces during his RCAF career from 1955-1975. He was an instructor at SK Technical Institute in Moose Jaw from 1976-1987. He was the recipient of the Royal Canadian Legion 50th Year of Service Award.

Ken passed away with his family by his side after bravely enduring lung disease for his last few years. Ken was born and grew up in the Marquis, Saskatchewan area where he graduated from high school.
Ken obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saskatchewan in 1959, then obtained his Professional Teaching Certification in Regina in 1961. He went on to teach in Strasbourg, Brownlee, Briercrest and Mortlach. After teaching he became a realtor in Moose Jaw until he retired in 2002.

The family of Murray Neil Jack Elliott is sad to announce his passing on February 14, 2025 at the age of 64 years. Murray’s life was filled with challenges, accomplishments, risks and major victories. He was a warrior having served with the 2nd Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, and most recently with the Commissionaires for the Moose Jaw City Police.
