Grizzly and black bear activity causes bear warning in K-Country campgrounds
The Peter Lougheed Provincial Park has been getting visitors from both Grizzlies and black bears.
Alberta Parks issued a Bear Warning for Peter Lougheed Provincial Park campgrounds on Sunday, July 27, because multiple grizzly and black bears have been frequenting the campgrounds.
This isn't the first time a bear warning has been issued for this area this summer.
Back on June 16, a black bear had accessed and damaged an unoccupied tent at the Boulton Creek Campground.
High River joins pilot program to support economic development
The Town of High River has joined the Invest Greater Calgary Initiative as part of a three-year pilot program to support economic development.

Filming taking place in High River, limiting Museum access
High River is hosting film crews this week.
The filming will take place at the Museum of the Highwood and High River Information Centre today (Monday) and Tuesday, July 29.
While the crews are filming today, the museum will have limited access, but on Tuesday, the museum will be fully closed.

Environment Canada issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch today (July 28) at 10:37 a.m. for Foothills County, Vulcan County, Siksika Nation, and the M.D. of Willow Creek.
