WMC scholarship winners in belated virtual recital
They were all set to perform back home in Winnipeg over the winter holidays.
Then, over concerns of the rapidly spreading COVID-19 Omicron variant, the Women’s Musical Club of Winnipeg (WMC) made the decision to cancel the WMC Scholarship winners' in-person recital, opting instead to take the performance online.
Over $11,000 is presented in WMC scholarships to advanced Manitoba musicians pursing performance careers in all disciplines.
