No more pirate puns on Collegiate 411 now that MCI has wrapped 'Pirates of Penzance'

It's always bittersweet when a play or musical comes to and end but it must be nice for the students at MCI in Gretna to have a little bit more free time.
Pirates of Penzance wrapped up this past weekend, and by all account it's was a success.
"We want to thank all of our staff, students and families for all the help they did to make this musical possible, shared Nelia.
Macie piped up with "All hands on deck"
"And of course, thank you to all who came out to watch and support us as well"
Carman wraps up their play while NPC and GVC students prepare for a trip to Europe

It was all hands on deck last week for the school's performances of 'Alice in Wonderland.' After a successful two evening performances, they wrapped things up on Saturday with a matinee. See some photos from the show below.
Also, Abby shared about some more success for Shaela, Keira, India, Rylie and Coaches Diane & Ron, who won the U21 Curling Provincials. They will now represent Manitoba at Nationals in Fort McMurray at the end of March.

It was all about Prime Time Crime at Miami School last week. Students worked hard both on and off the stage to make this possible.
"Before stage I would get nervous but as soon as I'm on stage, it's like I'm a completely different person, you are the character," recounted Joyce when asked if she got nervous about being on stage.

Saturday was 'Random Acts of Kindness Day' and Cohen Alexander asked the student body how they have shown kindness.
Some answers include "I opened a door for someone that had their hands full of stuff" and "I brought my sister flowers in the hospital."
