About $350,000 of the $400,000 goal has been raised, as of late Wednesday morning.

The two-day radiothon is playing on 39 stations across Saskatchewan, including on all of Golden West Radio's, as the province supports STARS' bases in Regina and Saskatoon.

Colorado Low arrives bringing poor driving conditions and cancellations

For most areas that were under Winter Storm Warnings Tuesday, light snow started to fall late in the day Tuesday and it hasn't stopped since. In Portage, the snowfall has been pretty light so far and although the wind hasn't picked up to the degree it may, it is still quite blustery. In many areas to the East and South, the snowfall intensity has picked up and has remained high.

Radiothon total soaring higher and higher heading into Day 2

Day 1 of the Saskatchewan Critical Care on the Air Radiothon for STARS is in the flight logs, with $185,000 raised for the organization responsible for over 50,000 missions in western Canada since its 1985 inception.

Day 2 of 2 runs Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. across 39 stations in Saskatchewan, including all of Golden West's.

STARS flew 1,075 missions in Saskatchewan during their last fiscal year. But their care goes beyond that.

Radiothon in flight to raise money for STARS

We are into a very important two days for emergency care in the province.

The Saskatchewan Critical Care on the Air Radiothon for STARS runs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday across many radio stations in Saskatchewan, including Golden West's.

You can tune in to hear stories from people impacted by the air-rescue service, perspectives from staff, and messages from supporters.
