Gordon Schatkoske of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on October 11, 1939, and grew up on a family farm north of Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Gordon attended Central Public School and graduated from SCCI in 1958.

In Loving Memory of Ruth Janel Elsworth (nee Ringdal)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Ruth Janel Elsworth (née Ringdal), age 66, of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on January 18, 2025. Ruth was born on June 22, 1958, in Plentywood, MT, to Pastor Palmer Ringdal and Marion Ringdal (nee Laird).

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jake Braun on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the age of 91 years. Jake leaves to mourn his wife of 66 years, Joyce, and his four children: son Brian (Vicki), son Blair (Rose), son Steve (Sheri), and daughter Marilyn (Stuart) Braun-Pollon. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday July 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. (viewing from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.) at Hillside Christian Fellowship Church, Beechy, SK. Interment to follow in the Neasden Cemetery.

Audrey was born the eighth of twelve children to Barbara and Hugh Halladay on July 22, 1923, and passed on November 19, 2022, with her son at her side. She was born in Riverhurst, SK and grew up in Lawson and Gilroy. She often shared stories that demonstrated not only the hardship of those times, but the love, laughter, and music as well. She spoke highly of her mother, and the legend and lore of the Halladay sisters are known by friends and family far and wide.
