Classsroom of the Month

We had an amazing time at Westview School celebrating February’s Classroom of the Month with Mr. Charlton’s Grade 2 class! The excitement was already high with Valentine’s Day and an upcoming week off from school, but the fun reached a whole new level when we arrived with a delicious feast from KFC Estevan and sweet treats from Southern Plains Co-op.

The winners for January were Mrs. Gullacher's grade 5/6 class in Englefeld. 

The nomination stated:

"They are kindhearted students and are good listeners. They work to include their peers on the playground."

For our January Classroom of the Month delivery, we had the pleasure of visiting Hillcrest School. Hannah’s name was drawn, earning her and Mrs. Sydiaha’s Grade 1/2 class a delicious feast from KFC Estevan and treats from the Southern Plains Co-op.

It was a bitterly cold day outside, but the students’ warmth and enthusiasm made the visit unforgettable. We chatted about their favourite activities to enjoy on chilly winter days, with plenty of creative and cozy ideas shared by the class.

We started the year off right with a visit to Weldon School in Bienfait to celebrate Jaden and his Grade 2/3 classmates as December’s Classroom of the Month winners! Mr. Nickel’s class was all smiles as we joined them shortly after their holiday break for a fun and festive lunch.

The students were eager to share their favourite holiday memories, from family traditions to wintertime fun, bringing the festive spirit into the new year. The celebration was complete with delicious meals from KFC Estevan and tasty treats from the Southern Plains Co-op, making it a day to remember.

We had a blast at St. Mary's School as we visited Mrs. Dosch's Grade 1 class to celebrate their Classroom of the Month win, thanks to their classmate Summer, whose name was drawn! The students were full of energy, sharing their favourite snowy day activities and even singing us a song. Everyone enjoyed a delicious KFC Estevan meal and tasty treats from the Southern Plains Co-op. It was a fun-filled day of laughter, good food, and great company!

The winners for October were the grade 1/2 class from St. Dominic School and their teacher Mrs. Hergott!

The nomination stated:

"Mrs. Hergott is an amazing teacher, and her students are great! Combining 2 grades is difficult, but they have been doing awesome and are fantastic classmates to each other. I believe the whole class deserves something special."

It was a spooktacular Halloween for Miss Wright’s Grade 3/4 class at Westview School! Willow's name was drawn as October’s Classroom of the Month winner, bringing a well-deserved KFC Estevan lunch and treats from the Southern Plains Co-op. The special delivery included Beetlejuice Haunted Apple beverages, a perfect fit for the day’s eerie excitement.

Classroom of the Month presented by Town & Country Plumbing, Heating & Electrical rolled into Madame Hendry's grade 4/5 at Palliser Heights on a generous fall day.

Students were treated to lunch from Family Pizza and dessert from Kona Ice. Madame Hendry was spoiled too with gifts from Wrapture Spa & Boutique, Just A Girl In Her Garden and K+S Potash.

The first winners were Mrs. Moore’s Grade 7M class at Humboldt Public School. The nomination recognized Mrs. Moore for her kindness and the wonderful atmosphere she creates for her students.

"Mrs. Moore is so kind and sweet!"

We are now at the end of the school year so a pizza party was a must!  Ms. Roths grade 5 class at the school in Plenty were highlighted as June's Classroom of the Month. They got to celebrate a years worth of hard work with a surprise visit from Country 104 Morning Show host, Darien Rae and of course a delicious pizza lunch courtesy of Boston Pizza Kindersley.
