With great sadness, the family of Gerald Noble announces his passing at age 80, on May 13, 2024. Gerald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gladys (Harper); four children: Kevin (Carolyn), Michelle (Kevin Kelbert), Craig (Liana), Trevor (Danita); five grandchildren: Kenton (Jessica), Spencer, Taylor, Kristen, Chase; one great-grandchild, Sophie; sister, Lillian Willford; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Gerald is predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Ethel, siblings Joyce and Donald.

Phyllis Baron of Mankota, SK, passed away January 9, 2024 at age 83 years. Phyllis Evelyn Perrin was born July 13, 1940 on the Bingham farm south of Mankota, Saskatchewan. She attended Wideview School for Grades 1-10 taking her Grade 10 by correspondence but attending school. Phyllis and Harvey were married April 26, 1957 and started their married life in Uncle Grover Cleveland’s house in Mankota. They then bought the Jake Shaw farm where they raised grain, pigs and chickens. Later, they moved the house into Mankota onto South Hill.

The family of Gerald Muldoon wish to share his passing on January 1, 2024 from aggressive ALS. While Gerald was always able to control many aspects of his life, he was unable to stave this disease.

Many memories and life lessons will be cherished by Gerald’s family; his wife, Janeth; daughter, Sloane; son, Derrek and Stacey; granddaughter, Heather (Ryan); grandson, Ryan (Beth); great grandchildren, Hunter, Emily and Kade, Aurora and Charlotte.

Maurice Hartness, of the Verwood District, SK, passed away June 17, 2023 at age 93 years. Maurice is survived by siblings: Mabel Wallis, Harvey (Cecilia), sister-in-law Lynn Hartness, numerous cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Maurice is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Selena; siblings: Thomas (Emma), Leo, John (Anne), Joseph, Ethel Wilson, Lois (Wesley) Maynard, Selena (Lloyd) Rodger, Alvin and brother-in-law George Wallis.

Alvin Hartness, of the Verwood district, SK passed away June 1, 2023 at age 89 years.

Walter Kiel Walter Adolph Kiel was born April 8th, 1927 on the family farm in the Ardill district of Saskatchewan. The last surviving child of Emma and Adolf, Walter passed away, with family by his side, on June 6th , 2023, at age 96. Four children survive Walter: Shirley Kiel, Deanna Palmier (Terry Heglin), Phillip (Sheila), Gregory and their families; sister-in-law Eva Kiel, numerous nieces and nephews.

Velma Jean Martinson (nee Matity) of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on January 10th, 2023, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husband Marlin Martinson; her granddaughter Josy Pierce; her parents Bill and Leona Matity; and siblings Leona Straza, George Matity, Donna Drewitz, Vic Matity, and Bill Matity.
