Navjeet Singh, driver in fatal intersection crash, arrested in Toronto
The semi driver charged in last November's fatal crash at highways 201 and 306 south of Plum Coulee has been taken into custody.
RCMP say 25-year-old Navjeet Singh was arrested by Peel Regional Police and CBSA agents at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport Thursday shortly before 9 a.m., after arriving back in Canada on an Ethiopian Airlines flight.
Police had been unable to locate Singh since his release from hospital after the crash and was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest for the last nine months.

RCMP investigating break and enters in Morris
RCMP are investigating a series of break and enters that happened in Morris.
Around 8 a.m. on August 11th, police were notified that at earlier in the morning, around 1:30 a.m., three people entered a building on Charles Street West and stole about $2,000 worth of merchandise.
Then at 4 a.m., a woman was seen stealing from a shed. Police say nothing of value was taken from the shed but note the building will need to be fixed.
It's unknown if the two incidents are related.
Tractor/SUV crash prompts warning from Carman-Dufferin Fire Department
No one was physically injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night east of Carman.
According to Carman Dufferin Fire Department, a tractor pulling a baler was heading down the side of Highway 3 when a westbound SUV collided with the back end of the baler, causing it to flip onto its side before stopping on the highway.
The department stressed on social media that farm equipment being moved along roadways during the night should be outfitted with proper lighting and warning devices.

Buffalo Creek Mills launches $1.5M expansion to double oat flake capacity
A $1.5 million project will double Buffalo Creek Mills' capacity to produce oat flakes for human edible consumption.
CEO Ryan Penner says they'll be installing additional state of the art equipment to get the job done in November and December, with hopes it will be ready to go in the new year.
"We process four thousand metric tonnes of raw oats every month, of which a portion of that moves toward a direct human edible consumption product. So, it (the project) doesn't change what we do at the plant but it does change what we produce."
New skid unit adds to Altona/Rhineland grass fire response
Altona/Rhineland Emergency Services (ARES) has a new piece of equipment and it'll help crews fight grass fires.
The department was gifted a fire skid by Global Medical, a non-profit agency based in Alberta, earlier this summer. It's one of 32 donated to fire departments across Manitoba to help in the fight against the wildfires.
As Fire Chief Greg Zimmerman explained, it's a 250 gallon tank equipped with a small pump and a hose reel that fits in the back of a pick up truck.
