RCMP searching for driver in Prud'homme area
RCMP are requesting the public's help in locating a vehicle and its driver.
Saskatoon RCMP are asking the public to keep an eye out for a blue 1994 GMC half ton truck with Saskatchewan plate 639 NDB. Vehicle was last seen in the Prud'homme area. Police believe vehicle operated by Myles Has, age 34 years. Myles Has is a person of interest in an incident involving firearms that occurred around 8:30pm on September 6, 2023 in Prud'homme.
Superannuated Teachers group offers education scholarship
In honour of the 50th anniversary of the Superannuated Teachers of Saskatchewan STS) and the Humboldt and District Chapter of the STS, the Humboldt and area group is offering a $1000 scholarship to support students entering the profession. The award will be granted to a local student entering the final year of a Bachelor of Education Program. The Scholarship is supported by a $500 grant from the provincial STS.

This week marks back to school for Saskatchewan students and that’s why SGI’s Traffic Safety Spotlight for the month of September focuses on school zones. Streets become more active at the arrival and departure times of day. In Humboldt, we are aware of how that impacts traffic flow along our main through routes. Manitou Music Fest marks a bittersweet farewell to Gallery owners
Sunday, September 3 heralded the final summer performance event at the Little Manitou Art Gallery with a bittersweet farewell to owners Sarah McKen and Clayton Cave. The pair has sold the Gallery which has been home to a unique and eclectic music performance and gallery space over the last decade plus.
The Manitou Music Fest has been a feature of the Labour Day weekend for years, and the multi-talented musicians, dancers and performers gathered on a warm September evening for a perfect summer send off.
Melfort RCMP seeks help in searching for missing male
Melfort RCMP Detachment is seeking the public's assistance in locating Jeremy Petrie who was reported missing from Weldon, SK.
Jeremy Petrie was last seen on September 2 at around 2:30 pm. Jeremy is described as 6'5", 250 pounds, and male, wearing beige cargo pants, a black t shirt with white lettering, sandals and a black hat.

Back to school - Humboldt school speed zones back in effect
It's back to school for students in the Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools in Humboldt and the Horizon School Division. Youngsters will be on their way to class on Tuesday, Sept. 5, some for the first time.
Motorists are reminded to take extra precautions will pedestrian traffic at key times. In Humboldt, school zone speed restrictions are back in place and down to 30 km per hour during restricted hours (between 8 am and 5 pm on school days).
Combined Traffic Services reminds motorists to obey laws at intersections
It’s been a busy first half of the year for Saskatchewan’s Combined Traffic Services officers keeping tabs on the province’s crossroads. Since the beginning of the year, the RCMP reports that Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan (CTSS) has issued 1816 tickets to drivers in Saskatchewan for violations at intersections.

We delivered some drinks and ice cream just before the long weekend to keep them cool with all the nice weather expected to come.
They were very surprised when we showed up with a full cooler but were very thankful that we came.
Meal in the Field Week 2 - The Yeager Family
It was Week 2 of Meal in the Field, and it was smiles all around with the Yeager family.
The Yeager farm is a 3rd generation farm with 1800 acres and is a mom and sons crew, run by Kim, Eric and Adam.
They say harvest is going as well as can be expected and hope to finish up by the end of September.
They enjoyed a delicious meal with Bolt FM staff while surrounded by friends and family.
