Cochrane is now sitting with 12 active cases.  

Rocky View County had a bit of an anomaly as active cases there actually increased for the first time in a while, rising to 16 from Friday's 14 cases.

The province is reporting 100 new cases on Sunday and 127 new cases on Saturday with another drop in active cases from 2,336 on Friday to 2,170 on Saturday and 2,127 on Sunday. 

There are 214 people in the hospital a drop from 221 on Saturday.  ICU patients saw an increase from Saturday to 53 on Sunday.

Another seven Albertans have lost their lives to the virus bringing the total number who have died to 2,290 since the start of the pandemic.

The province has delivered 3,775,674  doses of vaccine into Alberta's arms.  The percentage of people 12 years of age or older in the province who have received at least one dose now stands at 70.7 per cent while those who are fully immunized are now 28.6 per cent.

On Friday Alberta Premier Jason Kenney said the province would remove all remaining public health orders on July 1st after the province reached its goal of 70 percent of Albertans vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and entered Stage Three of its Open for Summer Plan.
