Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) officers were requested to attend to a residence on Sandy Bay First Nation last Wednesday for a report of an assaulted man.
Just after 11:00 p.m. on December 6, officers attended and located an adult man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm as well as other injuries. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police say that it appears the victim may have received these injuries at a different location in Sandy Bay First Nation. MFNPS officers continue to investigate this incident.
