The family of Colette Smith are saddened to announce her passing on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Meadows. Colette was born on October 28, 1953 in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. Colette attended the Scotsguard School in Scotsguard, Saskatchewan.
Colette worked as a Clerical Secretary at the Cancer Clinic in Saskatoon previous to 1985. Colette married the love of her life, Walter Smith. They were married for 16 years before Walter passed away. Colette loved watching the Blue Jays baseball, Toronto Maple Leafs hockey and the Riders football. Colette also loved to read and had a huge collection of books.
Colette loved her close knit family, her only child, Amanda and her 4 grandchildren deeply. We will always cherish and remember all the little things. There will always be a place in our hearts for you.
Colette is survived by her daughter, Amanda; sister, Cristel Johnson; granddaughters, Jordana Harding, Rebecca Woelk; grandsons, Skyler Harding, Roman Woelk; and many cousins and special friends.
Colette is predeceased by her husband, Walter Smith; mother, Besse Yokom; father, Leslie Johnson.
