Cochrane will Open for Summer with zero active COVID-19 cases

On the eve of Stage 3 of Open for Summer, Cochrane is reporting zero active cases while Rocky View County is reporting 11 cases. 

The province reported 76 new cases in the past 24 hours with a positivity rate of 1.2 per cent.

The province now has 1,055 active cases.

There are 165 people in the hospital with 34 in ICU.

Sadly, two deaths were reported including a man in his 20's, he is the eleventh death under the age of 30 in Alberta. 

COVID-19 vaccinations continue to rise with 72.8 per cent of Albertans having received one shot and 42.4 per cent of residents now fully immunized.
