Very close to half of Alberta fully immunized against COVID-19

Over 4.6 million doses of vaccine have been administered in the province which breaks down to 73.5 per cent of the province have received one dose of COVID vaccine and 49.6 per cent of Albertans are now fully immunized with two doses. 

The COVID-19 numbers for Tuesday, July 6 are as follows:

• There are now 763 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. 
• There were 33 new cases reported in the past 24 hours with a positivity rate of .075 per cent. 
• There are 138 people in the hospital with 32 in ICU. 
• Cochrane added another case for a total of eight active cases while Rocky View County also increased by one for a total of nine.
