Active COVID-19 cases continue to fall in Alberta

The COVID-19 numbers for Wednesday, July 14 saw 46 new cases in the past 24 hours with the positivity rate remaining below one per cent. 

Active cases in the province dropped by 30 to 569.

Hospitalizations increased by one to 113 while ICU admissions dropped one to 33.

Sadly, one additional death has been reported in the past 24 hours bringing that grim total to 2,311.

To date, over 4.9 million doses of the COVID vaccine have been administered.

Albertans who have received one dose of vaccine register at 74.3 per cent while 56.5 per cent of the provincial population are now fully immunized.

Cochrane's active cases have dropped by one for a total of seven. Rocky View County remains at three active cases of COVID-19.
