In light of the five suspicious deaths, and the investigation Manitoba RCMP have initiated, words of support, comfort and condolences have been pouring in from across the province and beyond for the community of Carman.
Carman Mayor Brent Owen said in a phone conversation with Golden West following the late Sunday afternoon RCMP news conference he was saddened to hear of the tragic loss, noting the community lost five of its citizens today. "It's just horrific," he said.
