Nearly a third of Eastend's population came out to support and enjoy the Dine and Dance fundraiser this past Saturday.

Supper was served at 6 p.m. and live music and dancing began half an hour later.

The Ranchmen, a local band, volunteered to perform at the event for no charge, only hoping to support their community.

"The Hall is run by volunteers and needs funds to pay for the bills, keep the doors open, redo floors, and stuff like that," Nathan Zelnis, Eastend Hall Board member explained.

Over 200 people supported the event and enjoyed the music until after midnight.

"We just want to let everyone know who came, thank you very much. We're going to do something like that next year so if anyone is excited they can come next year to our concert and fundraiser". concluded Zelnis.
