BLAZ
Eileen Ann Blaz aged 77 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. Eileen grew up around Bankend, SK and moved to Saskatoon, SK after graduation, where she took a year of Business School and then began working for the City of Saskatoon in the Parks and Rec Department.
Eileen Married Joe Blaz in June of 1968, after meeting at a church dance. Eileen and Joe moved to Prince Albert, SK after Joe completed his studies. After living in Prince Albert for a year and a half, they moved to Moose Jaw in 1970 and built their life together. Eileen worked as a clerk for the Moose Jaw City Police until they welcomed their son Jason in 1978. Eileen then dedicated herself to raising their son.
Eileen developed an interest in Naturopathic Medicine and was self taught in the treatment of her son’s medical conditions.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pete and Katherine Zemlack; and brother, Alvin Zemlack. Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe; son, Jason; and brother, Edward.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Deacon Lamont Dyck officiating. Those not able to attend may view the service virtually by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/.
