COVID-19 cases rise as debate continues over Alberta restrictions

The COVID-19 numbers are climbing as Alberta reported another 369 new cases in the past 24 hours bringing the total active cases to 2,719.

Hospitalizations rose by 11 for a total of 113 and ICU admissions increased by one to a total of 24.

No new deaths were reported.

To date, 76.2 per cent of eligible Albertans 12 years of age and older have now received one shot of COVID vaccine, and 66.4 per cent of the provincial population is now fully immunized.

Cochrane held steady with 18 active COVID-19 cases and Rocky View dropped by one to 23.
