RCMP advise of potential traffic disruptions this weekend due to protest

The Central Alberta RCMP are advising motorists of the continued protest occurring on the QE II Highway at the Juniper Lake Rest Stop near Lacombe.

The protest has the potential to cause traffic disruptions over the long weekend.

Police advise that often times these protests have included vehicles conducting a “slow roll” consisting of a small convoy of vehicles driving below the speed limit on the highways.

Motorist are advised to expect delays or take alternates routes.
