Local entrepreneurs learned marketing know-how during a Community Futures Central Albert Digital Marketing Lunch and Learn on May 23.

About 25 entrepreneurs attended the Digital Service Squad (DSS) program, which links small business owners and start-ups with tech-savvy marketing professionals for one-on-one coaching.

The event featured speakers from Cinch Communications, Small Town Girl Promotions, and Community Futures Central Alberta.

“Attendees reported that the event was highly informative, and the variety of speakers and topics was very useful,” a Community Futures Central Alberta media release said.

“This event is about celebrating the DSS program and the impact it’s had on central Alberta small business,” said Tyler Harke, Community Economic Development Coordinator for Community Futures Central Alberta. “It also provides today’s attendees with no-cost access to some real experts in the digital marketing realm.”
