Get set for another rollicking time filled with music, dance, food and celebration at the 3rd annual Humboldt Music and Food Festival on June 22 and 23 on the Uniplex grounds. From live music and cultural performances to delicious food stalls and interactive games, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Organizers welcome everyone to congregate at the St. Augustine Catholic Church for the Thanksgiving Mass conducted in Filipino language. It’s the second year for the mass. The St. Cecilia Choir from Saskatoon will provide a special musical accompaniment. This occasion serves as a moment of collective gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us throughout the year, says a release from the organizers.

The organizers promise, over the course of two days, a plethora of activities, including a 50/50 draw to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Humboldt, live music performances, bouncy castles, temporary tattoos for all ages, captivating performances by local talent, and artists from various regions of Saskatchewan. An array of food trucks, food vendors, and non-food vendors will be present, showcasing their culinary delights and creative products.

Day 2 highlights activities for Family Day with the help of Humboldt Early Years Family Resource Centre.

There will also be a community garage sale during the festival. Simply bring any items you wish to sell on the first day of the event, providing a chance for unwanted items to find new homes and owners.

The Festival, a celebration of community and togetherness for all, would not be possible without the support of valued sponsors. Organizers thank major sponsors Humboldt Co-op and BHP for their ongoing support. During the Grand Opening on July 22. Joe Von Doellen, General Manager of the Humboldt Co-op and Karina Gistelinck. Asset President Potash of BHP will be on hand to deliver opening remarks.

It’s a community celebration bringing people of all cultures together to enjoy the colour, flavours and sounds so important to our community. The event is free for everyone. For more details, connect with the Humboldt Music & Food Festival Facebook page.
