Beginning at 8 a.m. this morning, till 3 p.m., motorists can expect significant delays north of Airdrie on the QEII due to pothole repairs.
The repairs will be on the QEII northbound, from Highway 2A to Township Road 292 near Crossfield. There will be a double left-handed lane closure with speeds reduced to 80 km/hour, with no passing.
"Expect traffic delays [and] one-lane travel. Drive with caution and watch for crews," 511 Alberta reported.

Yesterday, Airdrie motorists experienced a kilometres-long backlog of traffic on the QEII southbound towards Calgary as pothole repairs were ongoing near Balzac from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The repairs have since been completed, with lanes re-opening.
