The Humboldt Gallery will be holding an opening reception for a pair of new exhibits this weekend.
Sketches from Home by Leane Harasymchuk and Endless: Land, Lake, and Light by Leslie Blacklock, will be on display at the Gallery until August.
Sketches from Home features a distinctive Urban Sketching style to capture hidden gems hiding in plain sight.
Endless: Land, Lake, and Light showcases the majesty of Saskatchewan’s prairies, lakes, and forests.
Both Harasymchuk and Blacklock will be on hand at the gallery to discuss their artwork on Saturday, July 6 from 1:30-4:00. It’s free to attend and there will be refreshments served.
There will also be a block printing workshop tonight in Meeting Room #2 at the Uniplex from 6:30-9:00 with Annah Gullacher. The cost of the workshop is $20 per person ($18 for Members). Limited spots available, call 306-682-5226 or email info@humboldtmuseum.ca to register.
