Doug Armbruster has been a strong supporter of school and education activities in Subdivision 9 of the Horizon School Division. The Division has announced that Armbruster has resigned from the Board of Education due to an upcoming move.
“The Board has accepted Doug’s resignation with regret. Through an eventful term, including the global pandemic and teachers’ job action, students were always first and foremost in Doug’s decision making,” said Linda Mattock, Board Chair. “Horizon’s Board extends heartfelt appreciation for his dedicated service, and wishes the Armbruster family the best in their new journey.”
Subdivision 9 includes Punnichy Community High, Punnichy Elementary Community, Raymore, and Sask Central Hutterian schools. The position will remain vacant until the Board of Education Elections on November 13, 2024.
