Nominations are now being accepted for the Saskatchewan Cattlemen's Association board of directors.

The SCA is looking for cattle producers who are interested in taking an active part in the cattle organization.

CEO Grant McLellan says nominations are now open for board directors in Districts 2, 3b, 5, 7 and 9A.

"Any registered cattle producer has the ability to put their name forward to stand for an election to join the SCA board and help guide the direction of where the checkoff dollars of this province are going."

Registered cattle producers have sold cattle and paid the levy within the last two years, and have not received a refund, and would like to be instrumental in leading Saskatchewan’s cattle industry into the future.

Three other registered producers from within the nominee’s district must sign the nomination form.

Nominations for the Board of the Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association must be emailed, faxed or postmarked by midnight July 31, 2024

More information on the SCA and the nomination form can be found here.
