In time for the upcoming Westerner Days Fair and Exposition celebration, construction crews have nearly completed road rehabilitation of 19 Street between Gaetz Avenue and 49 Avenue.
All traffic lanes will be open tomorrow (July 13).
The final top lift of pavement will be placed when the roundabout construction is complete in the fall.
Crews are currently making progress on the north half of the roundabout construction, and traffic is being diverted onto the south detour lanes.
Work will continue through Westerner Days and motorists can expect some delays on 19 Street and 40 Avenue throughout the construction.
Motorists are advised to plan for slight delays, obey all signs, and slow down when in construction zones.
Trail users are also reminded that trails are closed north and south of 19 Street between Irwin Avenue and Sharpe Avenue.
