Sylvan Lake resident wins $100,000 from scratch ticket

A Sylvan Lake local just won $100,000 from a Scratch and Win ticket.   

Kristina Loeppky is new to purchasing scratch tickets and said she was in disbelief when she realized she had won the big prize.  

“I scratched it when I got home and saw the win,” she said. “We went right back to the store to check if it was true!”  

Loeppky has some plans for how to spend her new windfall.  

“I’m looking to buy a new SUV after I’ve paid some bills and put some in the bank,” she explained.  

Loeppky purchased her $5 Set For Life ticket from Canco at 1-117 Lakeway Boulevard in Sylvan Lake.
