Update: Cleared (Blackfalds RCMP on scene at serious motor vehicle collision)

At 1:33 a.m., Thursday (July18) the Blackfalds RCMP advised that the collision scene was clear. 

Highway 11A was reopened.

At 5:31 p.m., on Wednesday (July 17), the Blackfalds RCMP were on scene at a collision involving three vehicles on Highway 11A.

The collision was affecting roads between Range Road 282 and 279.

Traffic was being re-routed.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
