The East Central AAA 18U Red Sox ended off their regular season with a doubleheader against the Regina Wolfpack.
Each team earned a win on Saturday, the Wolfpack took Game 1 4-3, while the Red Sox responded in Game 2 3-2.
Regina jumped to a 4-0 lead in the first game and a late charge by the Red Sox wasn’t enough as the Wolfpack hung on for the win. Graydn Wilson and Merek Yeager each had two hits. Yeager, Cam Marshak, and Chase Sylvestre each drove in a run.
East Central completed the comeback in Game 2, trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the 7th, the Red Sox scored three to end up with the win.
Dallan Rude tied the game with a two run double, which was followed up by Carter Dosch with the game winning RBI single.
Pryor Dyck got the win on the mound with a scoreless inning and two strikeouts. Yeager went six innings allowing two runs on two hits and recorded nine strikeouts.
The Red Sox ended their regular season, four games back of the Saskatoon Cubs.
