Central Albertans can drop off bottle donations at the Sunny 94 station today in support of the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper.

Central Albertans are showing their support for those effected by the Jasper wildfire.

Today (July 31) until 6 p.m. bottle donations can be dropped off at the Sunny 94 station (4720 Hwy 2A) for the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper.

The response from Central Albertans has been amazing, and the trailer in nearly full!

The province-wide effort to support wildfire victims is through the Red Cross. 

At 9:45 a.m., a total of  $184,793 had been raised. 

At 10:45 a.m., a total of $218,946 had been raised.

At 11:45 a.m., a total of $252,426 had been raised. 

At 12:45 p.m., a total of $291,672 had been raised.

At 1:45 p.m., a total of $337,809 had been raised.

At 2:45 p.m., a total of $372,024 had been raised. 

At 3:45 p.m., a total of $409,239 has been raised. 

At 4:45 p.m., a total of $449,615 had been raised. 

At 5:45 p.m., a total of $518,482 had been raised.

Monetary donations can also be made here, or by texting 20222 with the keyword RADIO (in all caps) to donate $10. 

The donation will be tripled with the federal and provincial governments matching contributions.
