Red Deer road closure along 55 Street

The City of Red Deer is advising motorists of traffic disruptions on 55 Street as crews repair asphalt.  

55 Street will be closed at the 45 Avenue intersection until Aug. 8 at 4 p.m., affecting both east and westbound lanes.   

Traffic will be detoured along 47 Avenue and 44 Avenue.  

Motorists are advised to obey all signs, follow detour signage, and are reminded to slow down when approaching the area.
