The Humboldt Hammerheads season ended last weekend in Swift Current with provincials.

It was another successful swim meet for the Hammerheads even with the hot weather and shallow pool which meant diving blocks couldn’t be used by the swimmers.

26 individual event medals were awarded to Hammerheads along with 22 relay teams with Hammerhead swimmers also topped the podium.

Provincials ended a busy summer with nine swim meets throughout the province and five swimmers competing in the Saskatchewan Summer Games in Lloydminster in July. The success of the swimmers was evident throughout the summer, whether they were entering their first year of competition or they had been a member of the Hammerheads for a decade.

Even with the 2024 season barely in the rear-view mirror, the Hammerheads are gearing up for the 2025 season. Registration will start next March with current swimmers and their siblings. Any remaining spots will then become open any new swimmers to the team.
