Police have confirmed the collision was between two semi-trucks.
One occupant in one of the vehicles was transported by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the highway will be closed for another hour to facilitate clean up.

Police are currently on the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7.
Confirmed by the Highway Hotline just after 11:40 AM, the collision took place five kilometres east of Highway 768. All lanes of the highway are closed for the time being, and no timetable seems to have been given for re-opening.
No detour had been established as of noon Monday. Anyone on the highway should be prepared to stop, reduce their speed, and use an alternate route.
