The Town of Penhold is looking forward to welcoming guests from all over Central Alberta to the Fall Festival today (Sept. 6) and 7, 2024.

This annual event is fun for the whole family with activities and events for many ages and stages of life. Friday evening starts off the fun with the Ma & Pa’s Bakery Café Show & Shine, Mayor Mike’s Mini Marathon for a Cause, the Craft Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival, rides, food trucks and fireworks.

The fun continues tomorrow (Sept. 7) with the Community TIES Pancake Breakfast at Memorial Hall, the Fall Festival Parade at 11:00 a.m. and an afternoon of fun with mini golf, Kids Korner, cultural dancing displays, pie eating contest, chainsaw carving, rides, food trucks and vendor market.

“Fall Festival is one of my favourite events of the year. It is such a thrill to see people coming to Penhold from all over to enjoy all the events and activities,” says Penhold Mayor Mike Yargeau. “The Mini Marathon is 500 m of fun with mini doughnuts at the half way mark, the kids love getting candy at the parade, and it is great to have a new provider for rides this year.”
